It’s sometimes problematic to make a schedule involving teens when they’re between semesters. A good rule of teaching is to roll well with changes, so here we go! If you were interested in this class and Mondays didn’t work, good news, the class has moved to TUESDAYS! All are welcome to attend TOMORROW 1/11. If you cannot make it this week, you’re invited to start next Tuesday at a slightly discounted rate. If you’re interested but cannot attend, send me a message! Hi, Friends! I had to take some time off for personal matters and I’m so happy to be back in the office and ready to work. You spoke and I listened. I’m so happy to be adding a teen group class and a workshop for adults to my January listings.
There are so many teens amongst us who love singing but don’t want to be in the spotlight on stage and/or are uncomortable with one on one attention. Some teens are very content to be in supporting roles but do also wish to learn more. This class is for those kids. They’ll learn about reading music and how to improve their singing in healthy ways. We’ll discuss their goals and I’ll do my best to put them on the path to achieving them. This is a new class and we will need to be flexible with one another while we learn what works and doesnt work. If students enjoy their time with me and wish for me, we may continue with an option to sign up for a second set of classes! $50, 5 weeks. Mondays 6:30-7:30 p.m., starting January 10, 2022.
There are adults that would also love to learn more about music and/or singing but time and money are precious! This workshop is hopefully just the beginning. I hope to teach the very basics of how to read music and a couple of things that can improve your singing. Not everyone attending will be at the same level and we will discuss the goals of those in attendance. Future workshops are very possible so that all interested will have the opportunity to learn! $30, Sunday January 16 from 2-4 p.m.
